for the things you won’t.
Depending on where you’re at in life there are features that you’ll want from
your health cover, and one’s that you won’t – for example not many 22 year olds
need hip replacements. nib health cover is affordable because they’ve carefully
chosen what’s included and excluded for each.
When it comes to hospital cover you’ll know exactly which procedures you’re
covered for (like tonsils, knee surgery) and those you aren’t covered for (like
obesity surgery). And of course, accommodation and theatre expenses are paid for
any hospital procedure included in your health cover.
With nib you get 50%, 65% or 75% of the cost back on Extras like dental and
optical every time you claim (until you reach your annual limit). How much
you’ll get back depends on the level of cover you choose. So it doesn’t matter
how much your dentist, chiro or physio charges, you’ll get 50%, 65% or 75% of
the cost back with nib.
For example, on nib Top Cover if your dentist charges $140 for a scale and
clean, you’ll get $105 back from nib. That’s 75% of the cost back to you. It’s
that simple. Get more back on the Extras you’ll use with nib.
Accidents can happen, and should you ever require medical assistance nib will
be there to help. With nib private hospital cover you can access over 400
private hospitals in nib’s Australia wide network for the treatment you need to
get back on your feet.
