In June 2008 GIO was given a licence by the
government to provide workers compensation insurance
to Northern Territory employers. GIO is working with
NT WorkSafe to improve Worker's Compensation for the
NT Government, employers and injured employees.

56 Pitt Street,
Sydney NSW 2000. They are open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and
9am to 5pm on Fridays. Closed on most Public

GIO provides insurance in NSW, ACT, TAS, VIC, WA & NT. GIO does not currently provide
insurance in Queensland or South Australia.
In Queensland you can apply for insurance cover with Suncorp Metway Insurance
Limited (Suncorp) (GIO's parent company).
In South Australia you can apply for cover with RAA Insurance Limited (RAA) (a
joint venture between RAA and Suncorp).
In Western Australia you can also apply for cover with RACT Insurance.
