The building above is the German Insurance Building, corner of Main & Lafayette
in Buffalo New York.
It was designed by Richard A. Waite, and finished in 1875. The German
Insurance Building existed in Buffalo for 82 years. In 1957 it was demolished and the Tishman Building was built,
designed by Emory Roth & Sons. The Rand Building to its right was constructed in 1929.
